I have 2 questions: 1)How much do I gain performance with 2600K HT against 2500K 2)What kind of GPU should I get if i need these programs to run nicely: Adobe After Effects and Premiere
DaVinci Resolve and/or Assimilate Scratch
Should the GPU have a lot ram?
Premiere and After Effects are part of some of the CS5 suites. if u dont wanna spend as much look for a gtx285.
my workstation will be doing some rendering, but as i've researched Revit uses the cpu and ram for that. in your case, i would take try to advantage of the gpu acceleration in premiere.
i would recommend u a core i7 26ook and a Asus GTX 580 matrix
580 matrix? Unless you need to render a complex 3D animation at an extreme pace or you are gaming as well and have plenty of cash to use, such power is useless. Especially if you're only editing video and you don't need it to be rendered in 2 minutes.
