Do you game? If so, you'll need a new video card or you'll have one massive bottleneck. Do you really want to drop $600 on a cpu? The build looks good!

What are your uses for the machine? If u get a 2600k instead, you can afford to grab another gpu with the money you save.

Only a few people can really use the resources of a 3930k to make it worth the money

I would say go for a 2600k rig and spend more on a gpu or maybe even a 2500k if you dont need ht

all depends on usage and if you really want to go for the next generation or not? 2600k more than capable

I would probably be better off with the 2600 or 2500. But the fact is I only get to upgrade every 4 years or more so my ability to have PC components that last as long as possible is really the best for me. With the 3930 I wouldn't have to upgrade for a very long time possibly longer than 4 years. So my cost overall is low.

The 1500 is without video card and reusing some other components.

The video card as of right now is a huge bottleneck but waiting for the next series of video cards is once again the better for me and situation.
