Curious, what were you gaming on prior to the projector.
I game on my Epson 6100 which is idetical to the 8350 your talking about. Only difference is the 8350 has a more refined dynamic iris.

I wouldn't game on the pj competitively, like fps anyways. But casually and single player games it is quite fun. will post more later at DOT getting license renewed.

I have a 30" 2560x1600P at my desk and while it is a much higher resolution and still looks great being able to sit on the couch and play a game or 2 on the big screen (with or without friends) surround sound and everything else going makes the experience much better... I still prefer gaming on my 30" but it's still hard to top sitting in front of 100" HD inches dedicated all to you.

The resolution topic is a bit "misleading" in a way. Offcourse you want really highres, 1440p+, when you have the viewing distance you often have with monitors, 22"-30". You sit at a desk with a view distance of 1-1½ feet?

Cannot be compared to a 90" at "only" 1080p because of the viewing distance. You often sit 8-12 feet away(sometimes even further), so you would have a really hard time seeing any difference between 720p and 1080p at thís viewing distance.

You also mentioned the "cinema"-sound and that is one more important thing, as why i do my gaming here, in front of my 90". The big screen and the sound, and the fact that you dont "lose" anything. Input lag is a no issue, you just have to find the right projector. Don't even have to go wireless with the mice and keyboard, i use a wireless keyboard and a wired G500. My sofa works flawless as a "mousepad". smile.gif

I hate you right now. I was hoping to upgrade my 6100 with a 5020. Not sure thats a good idea now with such bad input lag.

the 5020 is likely what my next projector will be, I don't care about input lag though as I just use it for movies. for gaming, the 8350 is a solid choice

edit: besides wouldn't you have been more angry if you bought it and found out it has crappy input lag after the fact ?

Maybe, it's disappointing no matter how you look at it. I like to use my projector for everything, movies, tv, xbox, pc gaming. So I am thinking with 100ms of input lag I will probably just wait for next years projector. That's ok, because I was thinking about upgrading my surround speakers first anyways. (I have Infinity Entra surround).

Do you, or anyone else, know if the 8350 is the US-version of the TW-3200 in EU/Europe?
If not, anyone know what the US-version of the TW-3200 is named?
