[Build Log] tri sli 580 obsidian 800d LCS build ( for lack of formal name) please leave feedback!! - Page 10

First off, I'm liking your build! It's coming along nicely.

But is that a paperclip? I agree kevingreenbmx. Clearly it is a different conductor and that can cause some serious problems. You definitely have some ingenuity, but I would keep with the wire you're using to make the loops.

I am concerned about the material you are using as a conductor though... You need to stick with copper or something with similar electrical properties or you will have very poor quality power to your components.

rep for best idea thumb.gif and i just ordered mdpc crimping set so that i can redo the section with cabling instead of the metal biggrin.gif then i can paracord sleeve that small section before i crimp

haha, it's no problem, staff don't have rep. wink.gif

if you still want bendable copper, check this out: http://www.mcmaster.com/#metal-wire/=gcey5o

That is single strand grounding wire. It is pretty much exactly what you would need if you wanted to do the same thing. However, I think using normal wire is an even better idea wink.gif
