Hey everybody!

So I want to film a winter festival that happens here every year, but this year I have a very impressive view of some of the happenings. I'd like to grab a webcam that I can set up to film/take pictures all day long for maybe a week so I can make some time lapse videos. I'd like 720p video, but 1080p wouldn't hurt so I was looking at the logitech c920. Ideally I would set it up on my balcony ledge about 10ft worth of cable from my computers usb ports. How do you think this would fare in average -15 degrees C going down to about -40? There's also a 100% chance of snow biggrin.gif I can always set something up right against the window if the weather is too harsh. I should note that it will be filmed from about 11 floors up and somewhere between 100-300m away. It's the gathering of people I am trying to capture... on film devil-smiley-019.gif

What other options besides a webcam are there?

Do you think I should be looking to grab a larger hard drive if I constantly film?

Thanks a lot everybody! thumb.gif
