One of my gripes are when clicking to spawn on a squad member, if the squad member dies simultaneously when clicking Deploy, sometimes it spawns you at the US/RU Base because the selector quickly goes back on the US/RU spawn point. Now I have to commit suicide and wait in order to spawn another squad member closer to the action. This sometimes happens at critical points in the match were the objective has to be held. It should confirm that you want to spawn at the base with yes or no. I see other squd member spawning a the base because they had the problem, and now we're all away from the action.

I've died from jumping over a rail on Metro. Not even changing elevation, just hopping 2 feet in the air over a rail, and dying when I touch down on the other side.

Or how I can drop down 1 1/2 flights of stairs (15-20 feet), take like 30 points of damage, and later jump over a rail and land 2 feet down from where I jumped (also on Metro, the ramp on the last stage for rush) and die instantly.

I also hate how vehicles explode for no reason in Conquest when a point that has vehicles changes sides. I was playing Wake Island, spawned at B, and was 2 feet from the Jeep there. Nah, the easy fix would be if you aren't deployed before the person dies, it should reset the 'deploy' button (not the timer, just the button so you have to press it again to deploy so you know where you're going).

My advice is before you spawn, watch your teammates.
You can see what kind of heat they are under without spawning.
If they are suppressed, think of a spawn that will get you closest to the objective you are losing.
Your going to help out more by not dieing instantly, even if you do have to spawn at the base.
Spawning behind a squad mate that is already getting shot, loses you two tickets instead of one.

No skill? It has nothing to do with skill. Pressing the mouse button once to fire the RPG against holding down the mouse button or repeatedly pressing it when using a gun. Not much difference when using guns besides more button pressing and moving the mouse across the screen.

Agreed. It's a battlefield, not a playground. You would't get the Taliban or other such organisations deciding against firing RPGs at their enemies because it doesn't take "skill".

What they need to tweak is the gun firing-mode indicator in hardcore mode. There's no reason to not show which setting you have your weapon in.. in real life you can actually look at your gun and see the setting, therefor it's unrealistic to not have it. It literally defeats the purpose of HC.hmmsmiley02.gif

DICE games are always essentially beta releases, but that doesn't excuse the absolutely horrible GUI we have. Especially with a game like Battlefield, the GUI cannot work the same for all platforms. The BF2 gui was perfection as far as I'm concerned, and they didn't bring over a single bit of it to BF3.
