ok let me see if i understand:

first assemble everything and then reinstall windows XP, then istall the Mobo's driver from online whch has the chipset drivers right? and btw how do i get a avatar like that with my name Drift3r on it???

http://home.comcast.net/~cobolt/how_...ows_instal.htm

So i have to do that ^^^ but i dont have a windows XP CD but i read online that XP usually detects everything when a new mobo is installed so all i would have to do is install the Mobo's Drivers!

And since i might OC what cooling stuff you guys recommend?

Assemble hardware
Install Windows
Install chipset drivers (from CD, Asus website, or www.intel.com)
Install other device drivers (LAN, audio, GPU, etc.)

It will be kind of difficult to install XP if you don't have a CD. Keep an eye out for good deals, though, as you can get a copy for cheap with Vista on the horizon (I recently bought a new copy of XP Home for $15 out of pocket).

Windows Vista is coming out soon, so Windows XP deals are going to get more common.

Vista is still a little ways off, so if you're interested in getting going now, go with XP. If you'd rather wait for Vista, maybe pick up a cheap copy of 2000 to hold you over. For me, I'd rather wait for a new OS to be out for a little while to give Microsoft a chance to work out the worst of the bugs.
