Hi guys, I have another problem with my SLI now. I just can't get it to work. Every time I'm trying to switch it on in drivers application frezes.
Do I need to plug another EZ 4 Pin power connection to mobo ? On my P55 chipset everything was runing absolutly fine without it. Both cards separately are working without any problems. What can bo issue here ?

Have you tried different combos of slots? I am running two 560 Ti's on the topmost slot and the second to the bottom slot. I know they don't recommend those for SLI, but they work and I haven't had any problems regarding performance. My friend also has a Maximus IV and is running his 570s in the two they recommend for SLI (the topmost one and the one two below it).

What is tehe diffrence ? They sould work in any combination. The only diffrence sould be the speed of pciex.

Right, but try em in different slots anyway, you never know. Your SLI bridge is on correctly? Try reseating it. Latest drivers?

There are a whole bunch of things that can go wrong in an SLI setup.

First off when your in windows with both cards plugged in can you see them both in Device Manager?

Next, Have you removed the drivers and reinstalled?

If not I would try that. First download in install "Driver Sweeper" Leave both cards in, go to device manager and uninstall both cards put the check mark in the delete drivers box, then uninstall nVidia software via control panel add remove programs, reboot and enter safe mode, then run driver sweeper in safe mode and remove nVidia display and PhysX files. Reboot and install drivers..

Just some quick thoughts.. Sounds like NV control panel is hanging and just needs to be reinstalled..

Ok I'll try. The other thing is, in this configurationa - slots 1 and 4 one of the cards is on intel chipset and second on nf200. Can it be the problem that somehow I don't have NF200 driver installed ?

@10acjed

I just tried what U said - no use, and I tried to put cards in diffrent slots same **** !
When I switch my system it shoes two 570 nicely in device manager, when I'm trying to switch on SLI its "thinking for a while" and then one of the cards in device manager gets "!" mark and its says "this device canot work propely because it has an issue" or something like that.
