No, not really; but you can get an air cooler that'll perform the same for that. I meant that they can be, they aren't always are.

Yeah there are air coolers as good as the Hydro kits from corsair. Which in my opinion unless noise bothers you it doesn't matter which way you lean if you trying to get the cheapest cooling.

However back to the OP's discussion, If I had to choose between custom loop and Hydro cooler I will always choose custom loop. Adds a new level of building your own computer.

That's why i am so excited to purchase the hydro series , i am try to achieve nice temp for CPU and for future reference for my GPU.


i had recently upgraded the GPU custom cooler for the artic cooling acceelro so it should be enough .. if i will raise my clock to 4.5 5 GHz the current cooler wont hold it.

The Hydro series will not cool both cpu and gpu they are a closed loop system.

Yeah... but if i compare them to the custom kit's the custom one's perform much better and cool better , right?

My biggest mistake was ordering quicker then I completely understood what I was ordering. I ended up returning a couple of things paying restock fee's to reorder the correct parts I wanted.

But as someone has said earlier, Water cooling is addicting.
