The 3930 is a figment of your imagination. You only dreamed about it. It only exists in an alternate reality.

Apparently Intel's initial manufacturing run was already purchased and so that's it for the foreseeable future in this quantum reality.
Maybe if when you go to bed tonite you dream hard enough you will wake up in a quantum state of existence where 3930s are for sale. For amongst many other things I have been trying for years with no change.

What kind of reply is that. Although, I find it very funny and bizarre at the same time!

I have been trying to find 3930k for a month now and can't seem to find any, but I heard the new C2 Stepping will come to shelves in a few days.

I was going for funny and bizarre. Thank you. I hope you are right and it is actually for sale soon.

Been looking for it for at least three weeks myself I believe. I gave up and decided to go with a i7 2700.

Word on the street is that the C2 stepping is shipping now. They are already available in Europe and NCIX in Canada has them listed as in stock.

http://ark.intel.com/products/63697/Intel-Core-i7-3930K-Processor-(12M-Cache-3_20-GHz)#ordering

However the price from Intel has gone up from 555 at launch to near enough as it makes no difference 600.

Furthermore, on the EVGA X79 forums there has been talk about people having received C2 stepping chips from Frys. Newegg has also removed the "must be part of bundle" stipulation from their 3930K listing.

I would say that we should be getting chips within the week.
