Air Cooling NH-C12P

Thread Starter
Just fitted an NH-C12P into my Lian Li 351, but i think my power supply is causing it to work harder than it needs to.

My cooler is pushing cold air down, and my power supply situated about 10mm above is pushing up

450

Is there a better way i could do it??

that's quite the predicament. maybe not an ideal cooler for that case. honestly I dont see much that could be done aside from swapping it out for a self contained water cooler like an h60/antec 620, or something like a prolimatech samuel. edit: which may not fit. possibly http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233025, or anything lower profile.

Answer was quite simple actually.

450

The 2 front ones suck cold in, turned the cpu one over to blow up and the psu one blows out.

Getting idles of around 34-37 across 4 cores, 43-45 was max after 30mins of MW3, so not to bad.

I was gonna suggest that but was concerned about the psu, but i suppose its gonna be getting the same air one way or the other. glad to hear it worked out.
