Ram for X58A-UD3R?

I am looking to upgrade from my unstable 4gb ram in my mobo to 8gb. This time, I want to get some recommendations on what ram to buy. I have the i7 950 too. Should I get 2 sticks or 3 sticks to run in triple channel?

I like a lot of the gskill choices, which is the best one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007611%20600006069&IsNodeId=1&name=8GB%20%282%20x%204GB%29&Order=REVIEWS

Go for a triple channel kit, 12gb I would recommend, 1.5v lower timings are better

Go for the best bang for your buck

I know on my system 1600 is recommended, not sure how timings/speed affects on your system but a nice 1600 set with the lowest timings you can find would most prob give the best performance

You could pretty much go for any of these:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007611%20600006127%20600000261%20600006078&IsNodeId=1&name=12GB%20%283%20x%204GB%29

But I suppose out of the choices there I would go with the vengeance:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233146

Or if you have the cash you could go for something with slightly better timings like:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226298

Or:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148522

But those second ones are out of stock at the moment but they sure do look cool, if I had the cash I would of gone for thoses instead of the vengeance I got coming

Need anymore help just ask, rep+ :-D

What about this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231466&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-RSSDailyDeals-_-na-_-na&AID=10521304&PID=4176827&SID=1po203qhcpt67

It says its meant for my cpu (i7 series) and also my motherboard (x58)

It also has the lowest voltages I have seen, isnt that really good?

Yes they will work fine but in a real world scenario the voltage drop is most likely not going to have any real gain

It may give you some extra overclocking headroom but in the reviews ive seen its not enough to worry about

Go for them or one of the sets with lower timings I showed earlier, you will be happy with any of these

Yeah, I ran those in my R3E and was not able to see any gains in OC because of the low voltage. I had 6 modules, so at least the lower vdimm was a plus.
