Thread Starter
i have an aspire 5610 bl50 motherboard no:hbl51 la-3081p, i am replacing the dc power in jack because the pin broke off, while i have this thing apart i was wondering if someone could tell me max support ram is? crucial memory adviser says 4GB max 2GB per channel but other sites say 2GB max, also is the a better processor i could throw in this thing, the t2450 is in it now. for the cpu i couldn't find anything online. also what are the max ram speed i can use? is it 667mhz and i found a t2700 that is a socket m will that work in this laptop?
any and all help is appreciated.

The chipset supports core 2 duo, I would think anything up to a t7600 would work, as long as the cooling is adequate.
