The thickness of the rad is the only distinguishing factor. The thicker rad will provide more cooling however either version will be enough to cool the CPU. Just if you expand into GPU cooling as well you'll likely need an extra pump as the Rasa Kits don't have a lot of expandability.

RS is 30mm thick IIRC, RX is 60mm.

I've seen peeps running say 2-3 rads with cpu and gpu blocks on the rasa kit pump just fine. EK kits have better pump, no?

Check out the XSPC Dazmode Raystorm Kits.

I have recently purchased a EX360 kit and it's stunning. It pretty much keeps you covered in terms of future upgrades. Spend the extra cash now and save yourself some trouble.

yeah i spent a lil more cash in my WC setup, just did it like a week ago, i was looking into the EK kits and RASA but ended up making my own out of EK products and to say im really pleased on the outcome, so in my opinion go big or go home. Just so you can future proof yourself if u plan on upgrading

The RX rad is a thick eight fin per inch rad that lets you run low rpm high static psi fans like gentle typhoon 120mm x 25mm Ap-15 fan under turned down to about 700 rpm's and get real good cooling with little noise. The thinner RS rads takes higher rpm fans to do the same cooling. The pump can run a cpu and a sli set up if the blocks are not to restrictive here is a review of the pump from Martin LINK

You'll want to buy some UV blue tubing, rather than running clear tubing and a dye. Primochill LRT gets recommended a lot around here, I believe the RX360 kit uses 7/16" ID 5/8" OD so get an appropriate length of that size in the color you want (like this). If you're going to be replacing the Rasa block with a Raystorm anyway, you might consider spending the extra on the kits Dazmode carries (RX360, EX360 w/ D5, EX360 w/ DDC). They come with the Raystorm included, but offer better pumps, which will serve you better in the long run if you plan on upgrading the loop. They also come with compression fittings, which certainly aren't MY thing but are very popular for their appearance here. Additionally, the EX series of radiators actually perform as good or better than the RX series, as long as you're using fans over about 1000 rpm, so unless you're planning very low speed fans at some point, the EX360 kit would be the way to go, IMO.

i planned on having the rad at the top of my case jus below my 2 200mm fans that will b blowing cold air into the case and most likely throw on any fans that come with the kit to make a sort of push pull type deal. but those kits ur tlking about sound like a good idea. thanks for all the help guys
