Uh, no. The idle 2D clocks are set higher with multi-monitor setup is to avoid flickering or screen-tear. It does in no way will interfere with the 3D clocks during gaming. If you just edited the 2D clocks, it will not intefere with 3D clocks, of course unless you sync the 2D and 3D clcoks lol

 

I will just leave the 2D clocks alone. I was just showing you how to do it and it's possible.

are the 2 values i was editing. however, the values i was hoping to apply would only be applied when i edited the Want_2 value. the way i understand it is that if i were to keep it applied that way and did NOT create a new profile for gaming, those would be the clocks that would be used by the gpu while gaming.

I don't have Catalyst and with my PC now. Just play around with the profiles untill you get it right, it will not hurt anything.

Try ati tray tools check "apply to other cards" while tweaking your clock
