recommendation for transfer/synchronization soft

Thread Starter
anyone have any recommendations for a good transfer/synchronization program that can be used between a desktop and laptop? there seem to be quite a few around but they all look rather nasty. would love to know if someone has found an effective one.
or does anyone have another method for keeping both computers "up to date" with the other. thanks!

Try SyncBackSE, I used this before, transfering like 80GB data, worked fine.
