So I ordered the mini-beast last night.

Lian Li PC-Q08B (I have a feeling I'm going to love that case, thanks to rubicsphere for recommending it)
Zotac Z68-A-E ITX motherboard (Sata III, USB3, and Wifi. Plus, it's a Z68 board)
Core i5 2500k (Decided to go all out on that one, it was in a nice combo with the motherboard)
8GB DDR3 1333Mhz 9-9-9-24 Memory (could have gone with better, but that is perfectly fine with me)
HD 6870 1GB from XFX (it has a double lifetime warranty, makes selling it in the future for when I get a 7870 that much easier)
Rosewill Capstone 450 (I read the reviews for the 750W version, and JonnyGuru really loves the thing. For $70 or $80, this thing is a nice Gold Rated PSU. Only thing that sucks about it is that it's not modular)

Within the next couple of months, I'll be replacing the fans, and then go onto after market heatsinks. This is so exciting! smile.gif

Thanks for all who posted in here.

looks like a solid build smile.gif the difference between stock speeds 1333 and 1600 memory wont be really noticeable for most users

hope you enjoy your itx system! thumb.gif

Lol. Sorry, I didn't want to spend more than $40 on ram, and this set is perfect for what I need.

The most intensive stuff I do nowadays is game, so I'm not looking for super overpowered (and overpriced) memory.

Here's a quick pic showing how much room this little beast actually has even with a 7970
