It's Building time!

Thread Starter
So today I picked up most of the primary parts for my build.

Firstly,

I bought the Antec DF-85 Black Steel

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129087

The motherboard I bought was a ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157271

of course the 2500k.

I'm going to re-use my Ram, and the rest of the parts in my build. So it will be a fun build!

Going to attempt to update this with pictures as I put her together tonight. To get a running build log. Not doing any mods. But I'm gonna go step by step. Might be good for the beginners.

Firstly. The CPU and Mobo in the box.

I've already opened the case, and removed the front panel. but here is a side, and frontal view of the new case.

To note with this case, the drive bay cannot be removed. Though they have screws that appear to disconnect it, I've applied ample pressure and the only thing that budged was a cable routing piece of plastic that now requires a fix..haha

Also, you cannot mount the fans with screws to the rear, they need to be screwed in from the front, and only 2 screws per fan. They added little dimple things to fill in the hole to hold it. But it would have been nice to use all 4 screws. In addition to this, the standard Corsair screw does not fit. So your gonna need to find a smaller size.
