Windows on a USB "jump drive"

I know it's possible b/c i've seen and kno friends who have it on a usb drive. My questions to u guys would be how big of a USB drive would I need for windows first of all? And secondly, how would I go about doing this?

This video shows you exactly what to do. You need a 4GB or above usb drive. For windows 7 only tho. I don't know how big XP is. if you want to install XP.

Well if you have windows 7 or vista now you can do this:
