There was that development a while back where some scientists we able to cause a person to more likely act a certain way with a magnetic field. Though they didn't come straight out and say it of course...a tin foil hat would have probably prevented it.

This isn't like aliens, where you say "I saw some bright lights in the sky therefore aliens."

This is where you do multiple tests, and confirm results that lead to a discovery of some sort based on REAL evidence, not some vague eye witness testimony.

I don't see any tin foil in this article...

Furthermore it has been proven that tin foil actually amplifies "alien" waves instead of deflecting them.

ResultsFor all helmets, we noticed a 30 db amplification at 2.6 Ghz and a 20 db amplification at 1.2 Ghz, regardless of the position of the antenna on the cranium. In addition, all helmets exhibited a marked 20 db attenuation at around 1.5 Ghz, with no significant attenuation beyond 10 db anywhere else.

Conclusion
The helmets amplify frequency bands that coincide with those allocated to the US government between 1.2 Ghz and 1.4 Ghz. According to the FCC, These bands are supposedly reserved for ''radio location'' (ie, GPS), and other communications with satellites (see, for example, [3]). The 2.6 Ghz band coincides with mobile phone technology. Though not affiliated by government, these bands are at the hands of multinational corporations.

It requires no stretch of the imagination to conclude that the current helmet craze is likely to have been propagated by the Government, possibly with the involvement of the FCC. We hope this report will encourage the paranoid community to develop improved helmet designs to avoid falling prey to these shortcomings.

So there will be no escape... This could be abused in very bad ways... Though with proper use it could be a great research tool.

Won't help coma patients.
By definition they do not have have the brain wave activity that would include thought, speech, or other sensory constructs.
But like the tongue-camera for the blind, this is a good step.

People learn to live with their own memories, when they are bad... I have some thoughts and memories that I can handle because I have to, but if someone else knew them they would probably think I was crazy

I dont think this is a good idea smile.gif
