[BG] Gamers Plan Digital Sit-In For Half-Life 3. - Page 6

They don't want anything rushed. Up until this point, Valve has released ZERO information concerning HL3. These people that are signed up for this sit-in only want acknowledgment that the franchise isn't dead, and that they can still look forward to an Episode 3 and/or Half-Life 3. They aren't demanding a demo by the end of the year, or a trailer by next week or anything of the sort, they just want some sort of information telling them that the game is still scheduled to be completed and released and isn't going to be forgotten.

Not only was the article not read, but I'm sure the group wasn't even looked up for it either.

They only want acknowledgement of a new installment. They don't care about when it will be released and just want to know that it will come eventually. This is entirely a peaceful endeavor. I've never seen something like this happen to achieve something. I suppose I could load it up and run it in the background while I play BF3 or Anno 2070. I'm part of the mentioned group, so why not?

Sidenote:(I guess it's nice to have something not linked to Steam once in a while)

Sounds fun, I am in.

Of course if they are giving no news it means they are not really working on it and that it is not a priority. I am sure they have at least a small team working on it but I am guessing we are still two years away from seeing HL3. They are focusing on other projects.

That's what the group aims for... when it gets released is not the matter at hand, it's wanting to know that it will be done.

A friendly nudge to Vavle from us fans can't be a bad thing. Playing HL2 isn't too much a sacrifice for me smile.gif

Maybe HL3 is finished and they are just finishing off the port devil-smiley-019.gif
