Today I was on the pirate bay, generally being awkward. I started at blog post 1 :: thepiratebay.org/blog/1 all the way to like /400

Web servers dont need to be massively powerful. That seams like more than enough for web serving to me.

well in that list of the units it says all supermicro.... in the pics i see a bunch of HP....

Yeah it hasn't been updated since 2008 so that will probably have something to do with it. I sent them a nice E-Mail asking for an updated list and pictures. Fingers crossed biggrin.gif

I saw a cisco gig switch that didn't have a 10 G uplink module in it. A simple web request doesn't take much bandwidth, or time for that matter, and I would bet they're running a linux cluster to round robin the requests anyway.
