Has anyone actually tried the 3000M integrated CPU/GPU?

I am extremely impressed.

Can play Shogun Total War 2, maxed out besides AA, runs totally fine, probably 40-60fps.

Battlefield 3 on medium, no AA w/ HBAO, totally playable, 40fpsish

Skyrim almost maxed out - a little slow. I'd say in the 20-25fps region.

I am on an HP laptop that my work gave me. It's got the i7 2620M

Really impressed with the video capability. As you may know my desktop and gear was stolen; i've not been using the laptop for gaming (besides minecraft) because I thought it would be rubbish.

Cool. I'm still rocking a Core 2 Duo laptop with worthless Intel graphics. I kind of wish I'd tried out the HD 2000 or whatever was on my i5 2300 to see what it was capable of before I sold it. Oh well. I'm glad to see integrated graphics improving so much in any event. smile.gif

yeah the HD3000 ability isnt horrible for being integrated at all. My gfs laptop has the 2310 i think it is and she likes playing Dragon Age and it runs good enough on low cause she dont care how good the game looks vs being able to actually play it. lol
