It'd only be fair for me to buy you one with all the advice you've given me.

Yes, it's plexi (I want to keep an eye on tarnish and such):

Whoa Whoa, you got me all wrong. I didnt do it to help you, I did it to get my fix. Modding is addictive, and expensive at times. And helping others cut, grind, and bend their cases gets me my fix.

Lol jk just been drinking a little

Mount that bad boy

Firstly, awesome worklog! Just read through the entire thing. I've been modding my white 600T to fit a 360 on top and 240 in front. I'm still toying with the idea of squeezing in a 480 on top just like goodtobeking wanted but it doesn't look good so far. I am so looking forward to your mod being completed!

Yes. You can see the problems around post 95. Still waiting on a conclusion to the story.

Found this while looking through some old stuff. The CPU from my first build. It was an over-clocker's (and a 13 year old's) dream come true:

I never posted these pics of my computer with the 7970 installed (before I swapped it for the GTX680):

Here's the GTX680 and copper. Overall, the GTX680 and the copper are much uglier than was my 7970 and the nickle. The towered-power and display port on the GTX680 are ugly when not covered by the air cooler, and copper just isn't as pretty as nickle:

Very sharp. I agree about the GPU though, I always dig copper, but nickel just looked better with your build. How do you like the 680 vs the 7970?? I take it you cant figure out how to take off the fan blades off the Akasa Viper fans?? Because I sure cant figure it out. I like the yellow black look of the fan itself, it just clashes with both our systems.

Also I like your 120 radiator stack on the bottom. I might steal that ideal and make a shroud for that and the PSU to hide cables and make a cleaner look. Are they about equal in height??

I just purchased 2 6970s with blocks and all. Also replaced my top 240 with a 360, and offset it so that I can now do push pull if I want to. Also have some more ideas cooking

You always have things cookin' Mr. King.

The 680 definitely performs better and more quietly than the 7970...great performance + cheaper price upgrade.

Yes, PSU and 120 stack are about the same height. Post pics of your 360 mod!

I did remove the fan blades off the akasas (that's how I painted them white). I didn't paint the front ones because they aren't visible except for when I take off the side panel for pics...which is more frequent than I thought. All you do is pull them off. Just a magnet. I broke my first one because I thought I had to take off the tape and washer on the back...not the case with these fans.
