Thanks!
Project looks like it's coming along nicely by the way-
EDIT: looks to post directly above my own doh.gif

Don't worry about it, glad I can help some people! And yep, I agree that the orange is definitely not suited to everyones tastes. I actually ordered two of the black versions, but when they arrived they were the orange ones. Wasn't too happy about it.

Also, thanks! Going slowly but surely!

Small change to my previos update today, as before an update will go ahead later on tonight, however due to bad weather here I've not been able to do the putty work on the front panel. Currently finishing the planning for the top panel, so that (with any luck) tomorrow both can be done, weather permitting. Check back soon!

Rain has hampered body filler work of the second day running! What lovely scottish weather it is though. Also, that update yesterday is delayed until today because I am an idiot and ruined the last coat of paint on half of the pieces I was painting!

Sorry guys, but events out of my control require a full stop to the build until further notice. Hate having to do this but it's not negotiable, I simply don't have anywhere to work on the build at the moment.

I'll let you all know as soon as the situation changes, and thanks for following thus far!

After a brief haitus I am back!

Pictures will have to wait for a few days, but the work done includes all body filler mods, incuding the front and top panel mods and the GPU cover mod. I'm also partway through repainting the GPU fans white, and am contemplating painting the motherboard heatsinks white, to give the motherboard itself a little contrast.

Let me know what you think of this new idea, as I'm concerned about temps for them!

Painting the heat sinks would certainly be cool. A thin lick of paint would probably not be to bad for temps but the question is can you get away with a thin coat of paint. What color are the heat sinks?

At the moment they're black, they also have a brushed silver area with some gold lettering. I'd most likely leave that area alone and just redo the black areas. I'll add a picture as soon as I can find a suitable one.

Edit: Reference pic! Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I've not tried to remove them yet, but it seems that I would be able to remove the silver/black mesh areas seperately from the main body of the heatsinks underneath them.
