Just wondering where can I get decent quality paracord in a variety of solid colors.
After glancing through FTW's board I don't think I can commit to ordering from them for a while

I don't have a problem with ordering with FTW it's just that I'm waiting till shipping schedule gets back in order.

And the 550 will be the right size for single wire sleeving a la murder mod?
I'm used to looking at sleeving being sold in sizes like 1/8" 1/6" etc

amazon for sure, you can get 550 or just reg paracord in all colors, many diff vendors and you can get it for 8-15$ for 100 ft .

If there is another kind of para cord they use for sleeving, I haven't heard of it.

What do you think para cord is?

Para[chute] , you just take out the innards and there's your cable sleeving.

Basically you can get para cord anywhere personally my favorite brand is ` Rothco`. Make sure it's 550 type 3 and got 7 strands as most others that don't are cheap knockoffs and not the real stuff.

And you can get the stuff just about anywhere, Sears, Amazon, Ebay, or any Surplus store online or in real life ( I get mine locally on base here ).

As for sizing, 450, 550, 650 are all roughly the exact size. But 550 is the most widely used one.
