Sync XBMC with MYSQL

Thread Starter
So I'm trying to set this up so I can sync all my watched tags between pc's and resume things in another room. I'm following the guide on lifehacker but I did it all, imported my library on the host pc (I guess to get everything into the sql database) and moved the advancedsettings.xml over, and nothing changed on my remote PC. I removed and readded the library on the remote comp, still nothing. Now I'm importing the library on the remote pc to see if that does anything. Am I doing something wrong or just missing something? The lifehacker guide said import the library on the main PC and then just seemed like everything should work on all of them from that point, didn't really go any further.

Just went to watch a show on my main HTPC and now each show only has episode 1 of each season in my library. confused.gif
Had to delete the advancedsettings.xml and all the episodes came back.

The guide I read just had me make that advancedsettings file and on the host aim it at the host IP, same with all the clients. But like I said I had to remove the file and I gave up on it for now because it completely breaks my library for some reason while trying to use it...
