But wouldnt "those" people also hate every other smartphone since it has close/higher prictag as a Iphone/Ipad?
and by that logic shouldnt "those" people LOVE Apple because the AppleTV is cheaper then fx. a Boxee Box?

Ps. I just realized something, the reason why all the Apple guys gets pissed about being singled out is because,
Apple makes sure that Foxconn ONLY hire people that wants rights, and that will stand up for those right,
something the other manufactors dosnt do, which is why there isnt any suicide nets on those factoris,
and also why we dont hear about suicides on those factoris, they ONLY hire "stupid" people it seems.

He is a shrewd business man who would do anything to make more money (reading his half autobiography/ biography) confirmed this. Woz wanted to give his computer chips away for free. Steve made him sell them for hundreds of dollars. I still think Steve has left a legacy at Apple with everyone crowding round the table at the end of the day to see how many more millions or billions they make. It would make them happier if they even had one cent more on the pile. And hence they pay their workers next to nothing :- to make the figure that little bit bigger. This also applies to contracts. Contractors A) are greedy or B) don't get paid enough by Apple to pay decent wages.
Probably the latter.
If anything is connected to Apple, people will buy it no matter what. It is a sad fact of today's society. And something must be done.

this. The Woz is a good man, Jobs was not.

The only way this will ever change is if people around the world stop buying things made in China.

In fact we are likely suing Droid once our legal team finds something. They will. It's bigger than most company's R&D divisions.

All of this analysis of apple being some big bad hater of human life (as much as I don't really care for the company) is silly, and it's just a meaningless bandwagon that the hipsters are jumping on so they feel like they're making a difference in the world even though they live sad, trite lives.

It's not though.

Most companies have to compete with Apple based on price points...so their option is to either use the same manufacturers or go bankrupt if they can't come in a few hundred dollars cheaper and thus sell goods.

Apple on the other hand has some of the highest profit per employee of any company on earth. They do not NEED to be making phones for $3 worth of labor in China, and honestly their bad image will hurt them in the long run. Consider the Roman Empire, brought down slowly by guerrilla barbarian tactics.

The jump from $3 per phone in China to $10 per phone in America will have almost no effect on their bottom line...considering they make several billions more than they're even capable of spending. Long term though, it will keep them successful I think as the general public starts to wise up and move away from this tech giant perpetuating all the bad in the industry that happens.

They are one of the few companies that can afford to actuate change, and they don't. THAT is why they get lambasted.

The iPhone 5 is rumored to have a quad-core, so a 5S with a triple-core would actually be a downgrade (but still more ethical biggrin.gif).

But why more RAM? The iOS runs perfectly fine with 512MB even with all the apps/games you could possible wan't to run. This is one thing that bothers be, and is usually a "strong" point from the W7/Android community that iPhone's "only" have 512MB RAM, but tbh. the iOS is so much lighter than Android that it doesn't in fact, need more RAM atm.

Although I guess the iPhone 5 will have 1GB ram, it will only be because Apps are getting heavier to run, and thus the phone need a bit more juice, but so far the iPhone's haven't needed the extra RAM.

Coming from an Android fanboy..
