copper sulfate = I&H biocide same as the stuff you get from frozen except you have to make the mixture

But if someone else can chime on this that would be great. I would just go ahead and order a silver coil and pt nuke. You can run your water cooling loop without biocide for a week or so. As long as you put ptnuke or the silver coil in before algae and etc start to grow.

Bleach is corrosive. I wouldn't recommend using it.

seen some one posted bout a jewelry store I do know my local jeweler usually has scrap silver from repair jobs its 99.9% pure silver most jewelers usually have this laying around and it shouldnt be to expensive to pickup up a little strip or 2

This I ran my loop for 2 months with just DI water (no killcoil or biocide) until I tore it down to add a new res, second rad and GPU block and had no problems.

Another place for silver is a pawn shop any US Dime, Quarter or Half Dollar are 90% silver if minted during or before 1964, just buy one not worth collecting.
