I'm considering making this trade: My AKG K701s are new in box but not sealed, and the Grado 325i goldies are used but in very good condition.

Do you think this is a fair trade?

Thanks for the advice guys smile.gif

I would recommend making thiis and or posting it on Head-Fi. if you don't want to. you could just ask and i could post it for you with quotes and what not.

I think that trade would pull you ahead by a smidge depending on the application.
But Head-Fi is a good place to check, and probably find a willing trader.

If you had really done your research and really want the 325's....hmmm. maybe a good deal. But then again, like we are saying. Head-Fi is a great place to double check/.

thanks for the reply guys. My reason for not posting it on head-fi is that the deal is being made on head-fi. tongue.gif

I did do some research, and I think I would want the 325. I listen to rock a lot, and I've definitely heard of Grado headphones' reputation with rock music.

I think as long as the deal is roughly around even, I would probably be ok with it thumb.gif

once again, thanks guys!

more or less depends on how you want to use either. but overall, without these things considered, I'd keep the K701.

thanks for your input.

I thought you didn't like the K701s (I think I remember you writing stuff about that). Do you think the Grados are worth less than the 701s? (SQ, money, etc)
