Hard Bricked Captivate: Help?

Thread Starter
So I was flashing my phone back to stock through Odin one click. It froze up at the first phase. After an hour I shut the program off and tried to turn the device on. I got the (Phone)---- ! ----(Computer). I then tried odin3 3 click one,and it seemed to work but when it reset it just went black and now Its Hard Bricked mad.gif

Anyone know how to fix it?
I'm looking at the 301k resistor jig fix, but I have to go get the resistors and that won't be till tomorrow, plus it might not work.

If you got any screen at all your arent hard bricked.

I get that screen all the time because I am a massive Flash Junkie I suppose.

What I do when I get into that situation is:

1. Battery Pull

2. Hold Both Volume Buttons and plug in USB cable

It may not work the first time but I just do that over and over until it works, but I guess if it doesnt work after that you will probably need a JIG

Let us know how it goes!

Edit: Now that I am reading it again I may have misread it, if it wont turn on at all then its hard bricked, which isnt fixable through a JIG, mobiletechvideos.com has a unbricking service and while your at it might as well get the unbrickable mod at the same time

Odin is risking but mostly because of the unstable USB drivers. Try Heimdall if you can get any response.

Not familiar with your particular phone, RSDLite usually you can reflash your phone with the stock files if they're on available.

I think the captivate has a mod on XDA that makes it literally unbrickable (barring major physical damage). If it's completely hard-bricked, your only choice is likely the hardware mod.
