Thinking about getting a single 7970 to replace my current setup.

My current setup is 560ti 2gb SLI. It runs Bf3 at 1920x1200 with everything set to ultra like butter. I do have differed AA off though. I use Vysnc and it never goes below 59-60 frames on any map. I love it. But what I don't like is the noise and heat. My cards are right next to each other, so the top card gets to about 90 degrees and 60% fan speed after about and hour of game play. So its loud and hot. Will a single 7970 play BF3 at those settings and still maintain 60 frames? I could take the stock cooler off of it and put the arctic cooling cooler on it and it would be dead silent.

I downgraded from a 6990/6970 trifire setup and I'm happy with my performance. I get a little lower FPS but BF3 runs smooth as butter maxed on ultra settings, 4xaa and MSAA.

Not worth the money in regards to what you already have.
