The high 12v ripple to begin with?.. the 70mV ripple displayed by this unit translates into poor DC quality wink.gif

Get the Seasonic. Half the PSU's being recomended in here are Seasonic internals anyway and it's better to have the real thing IMO. thumb.gif

the seasonic platinum 860w got a very good review @ some german site (sorry i forgot the name tongue.gif) but the kingwin 1000w platinum totally wasted the seasonic 1000w platinum @ jonnyguru

The Seasonic scored higher and had "the best voltage regulation we've ever seen" and the scored slightly lower on one or two other tests. I've seen multiple people post what you said though and reading through both reviews a few times I don't see how anyone could come to the conclusion Kingwin "totally wasted it". I mean at best it's marginally better and at worse they are essentially the same.

Oh wait your the guy I think I talked about this earlier with. Ah well whatever you like the Kingwin I guess. wink.gif
