Not totally impressed with Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Verizon... Any recommendations? - Page 2

You could return it and get a iPhone and not have to worry about flashing custom boot rom's and rooting your phone to get great battery life. Also since you don't have 4g in your area then you won't have to worry about shutting off a feature on your phone that you cannot use because the iPhone currently doesn't have 4g yet.

Mine is the 1650mha version, I can usually go 2-3 days on medium use. (Texting, Calls, Email)

I have the AT&T SGS2, is that rom you recommended ICS? I can't leave ICS now that I tried it smile.gif

Seriously? Why the hell wouldn't they take the time to increase efficiency on release? I'm still really interested in the Droid 4 for the QWERTY keyboard, or the RAZR Maxx for the 3300mah battery... Hmm...

iPhone 4s and battery life? I thought it had terrible battery life and incredibly high data usage... Maybe I missed something?

nah, he means switching to a gen old device (ip4) so he can be behind just to have an apple on it. if he meant the 4s, then i don't even know what he is thinking.

I guarantee you my phone gets better battery than the Razer MAXX. However if the Razer MAXX had CriskeloROM... my god. Say hello to 5-8 days battery.

What? Give me a break.

The iPhone 4S is a fantastic phone, but the battery life is atrocious compared to most highend Android phones. Also, I'm not sure how hard you make Rooting/ROMing out to be, the whole process takes about 4 minutes.

I think they sold 37million ip4s... I know mine gets great battery life and I use it hard, and leave everything always on, no fiddling with wifi/bluetooth/gps. However a small percentage, maybe even miniscule have shown their devices have poor battery life. Apple will take your device back and give you a new one if thats the case.

With stock SGSII I was getting around 7-8 hours, with CriskeloROM v38 I'm getting around 1d and 15 hours with heavy use... It's REALLY crazy and makes no sense - My phone feels twice as fast and it almost feels like MAGIC at how good the battery life is just because of the software.

You can go on eBay and get one of those $10 3000mah extended batteries. You could also mod the back of the phone to increase LTE reception.
