It was a hair behind a few others in the 2600K testing due to the more mild base bow with the old P3 nozzle, but I think a combination of the new P6 nozzle and the minimal bow is a perfect match for the larger LGA2011 platform cores."
On the side note got the side window done, here are some pics...

Hey, just out of curiosity, how much would you charge for time and materials for this if I sent you my panel?

Just being asked to do this is a huge honor and thanks for that. If you are in/around the twin cities of the MN, I can help you do it. If you are not close, just go over to mnpctech.com and they have a very nice video guide on adding a window to any case.

I'm not sure how much shipping will cost. But the material on mine costed about $10.00 bucks for the acrylic sheet, and if I was to charge that would be around 10 bucks so I can buy beer for my friend whose garage I used.

Also for everyone else, I found thid $20.00 coupon for Micro center - LINK, so if there is one near by, go use it as it expired tomorrow. I picked a new 3770K, and mousepad for free (2 separate transactions)

Saw the video...might have to give it a go...shipping would be $50 alone (I'm in New England unfortunately) but thanks for considering!

Practice cutting some cheap sheets of acrylic get some straight cuts on that and you are good to go. Once you make the first cut on metal then its really easy from there.

To the owners of the special edition cases, how do they feel compared to the originals? My only complaint about this case (which I've had for some time) is just that it feels quite cheap and wobbly at times. Mind you, I love absolutely everything else about the case, I guess I was hoping to find out how the newer editions compare in that end since I'm considering switching over just for that reason alone, although it would throw off my fantastic all-white setup I've got going.

The SE cases come in at 11 lbs heavier, acc to specs, anyway - at 31lbs. There were some revisions -

aerating the top rom bay panel,

fan mount holes being lengthened by going to slots to accomodate 15mm spacing for 420 rads (this one I'm not 100% sure about)

the hard drive trays were redesigned to accomodate right angle connectors on ssds.

and of course, the added model in gunmetal

@ Jassilamba - you didn't by any chance, take some fotos of your window mod ? if so, it'd be great to see them online.. Make for a great tutorial. Really impressive look you've given your case, looks to be a first in design.

@ DirtyTrickster - I don't believe I've seen that before - 3 a-i-o coolers in a case ! I recognize the coolers going to the cards - been to that thread - very cool ! even tres cool wink.gif

there is supposedly some changes to hdd bays and the colors. Thats it.
Besides, i doubt anyone has owned them both so no one could really compare!
