Take you acrlyic sheet, mark where you want to make the cut and using the same blade cut the acrylic.

Using some Scotch 4010 tape you can mount the panel and you have yourself a nice looking window.

Hope this helps more.

Can you tell the acrylic sheet is recessed? Since the original has that sort of "puffed" look extending beyond the side panel?

It does a little, here is a side shot:

This case looks like it has a lot of modding potential to it! What I really like about is that its nice and elegant without being too flashy and this is one of the reasons why its on my list. I think I may end up buying this case in the end. I have some questions, I hope you guys can answer for me!

It really looks like that most of the people who buy this case buy it for watercooling. I don't plan on doing a custom water cool build, if anything, maybe after having my PC for a year I'll add a closed circuit watercooler from corsair or something. In the meantime, how is aircooling? I saw a review on AnandTech that really marked the case down because of noise and so-so air cooling capability. Since those are simulated tests, I'd like to know how you guys feel about the cooling in real world tests. can you give me some idle/load temperatures. I will mainly play BF3 on a GTX 570. What temperatures am I likely to get on an i5, non OCed CPU just on air cooling?

I used an EVGA SuperClocked CPU cooler and while on an i5 2500k I was getting 28 idle/ 45 load

It's got a ton of possibilies for air cooling. For a couple weeks before I convered both my Switch 810's over to water, I ran them on air. With all the openness and good cable management, there is little to impede the flow of air. It has replaceable screens on the front and bottom to filter out the air, and comes with 4 140mm fans. You can put 2 up front to draw air in and 1 out the back to vent it. There are also 2 fully adjustable spots in the middle of the case where you can mount fans to direct air on to your CPU and GPU. There there are the 3 140mm slots on top of the case to vent air out if you want, or you can close the top louvers if you don't want to put fans there. You can also put 2 140mm fans on the bottom of the case to draw air in. So that makes a total of up to 10 140mm fans that can be installed in this case.

I wouldn't rely too much on the Anandtech reviewer - he likes to test the cases as they come setup from the factory. And he seems to go out of his way to leave a tangle of cabling to block the airflow.
Like the 2 previous answers, the case gives you so many options - and stuffing it full of fans is one. Those 140mm fans aren't the best, but they have size and quietness going for them, esp the matching color if you order up a white case wink.gif

Hi guys! I'm planning on getting the Switch 810 Matte Black. Just a quick question, does any of the included case fans have led light? If so what color? Thanks! smile.gif

Well, I can't say for sure, but as an owner of the White and "Gunmetal" versions of the case, both of mine came with the same 4 fans, neither with LEDs.

Of course you could always go out and get your own in the exact color/style you want and put the 4 NZXT fans up for sale and get a couple bucks a fan for them.
