But I thought you multiply that number by 2, because of DDR (Dual Data Rate)? So am I at around 2140 or 1070Mhz?

Found this.\

Ok, we're in hour 2 of leak testing, boy did it start as an epic disaster!! At first no water was really leaving the res. Then my pump had air trapped in it twice and ran dry for about 6 seconds total, doesn't sound like any major damage yet. The air bleeding out sounded like Pop Rocks and I thought my pump was exploding, but it's been silent for about 5 minutes.

How will I know that all of the air is gone if my tubes are black?

I will look...the closest thing I have is a CompUSA.

So I found this really awesome case design, the "Lamborghini Reventon" by Paul Tan on the Silverstone Full Tower. On the front of his case, he has this amazing custom-made Lambo-type HUD that displays PC Stats that either he made, or had someone else do it for him. Here's a video of it:

(You'll be able to see pictures of the case in the beginning of the video. Its pretty awesome)

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where to get that type of transparent LCD Panel? My guess it's perhaps this Planar product?

In the forums he posted his build on, a few people asked him about how he did the HUD, but he wouldn't divulge any information on it, and just ignored those posts. I completely understand that he would want to keep something like this a secret, but he went on to link a video of a product that didn't seem like what he was using.

Anyways, does anyone have any ideas?
I'm looking into it here and there, but I'll have more time over the summer. I will share my findings in a new/dedicated thread.

I'm pretty sure, but not absolutely positive, that he is using something similar to what cars use in Heads-Up Displays... Namely, a projector and mirror. Could actually be done pretty easily...

Srsly though, I'd take very good (and timestamped) photographs of any damage you see, and contact the seller for an RMA. It took me about 10 attempts before I got Newegg to actually admit that the damage was their fault, and another 5 or so to get them to pay for the shipping (they actually expected me to pay $40 to ship it back to them, saying they'd only accept it if it was shipped with the factory box placed in ANOTHER box and with "adequate packing materials"... I about lost my s**t, since they refused to ship it to me in anything but the exposed factory box!).

Keep at it, because I contacted them the day I received it (4 days after the transaction), but didn't end up getting the prepaid shipping label until Day 48!

Well the 3770K is now at 5 GHZ

For those who care about temps - my ambient temps are at 73F, i.e. 22.78C

The CPU is not delided and these are just idle temps:

I asked if I should take it out of the box to take more pictures, it's just that I paid $70 AUD to get it shipped to me on standard shipping. But I'm assuming I should take it out for more pictures for more evidence.

RMA as is just from looking at the front, or take it out for more evidence?

Nice! How do you get your task manager to look like that?
