Thanks smile.gif

Had to drill some mounting holes in for the mounts. Simple as that. Only used the top Mount though as its all it needed.

Yes it is.

Looks like he is going to put a 480 (120.4) radiator in his.

Here's a crazy question. I've already got three radiators in my Switch 810, 1 360 in the roof, 1 140 in the back, and 1 240 in the floor. My current temperatures are about 12 to 15 degrees above ambient at full load, so how much extra cooling performance could expect to get from adding a 480 in a pedestal? I'm kind of thinking that it would be complete and total overkill for my current system.

I would first check to make sure that all the fans and everything is set up correctly, I will say that ever since I added a 480 rad to my 810 I did see a temp drop of about 6 degrees on the GPU at full load, about a 5 degree drop in load temps. Worth it maybe not, but on the other hand, yes, it was worth it.

You probably don't have adequate pressure in your case. You'll need more or equal air going out than in. Too much out and not enough in isn't going to do anything for your temps, I'm afraid.

Correct sir smile.gif
though I find yours more appealing with bay res in the pedestal
I'm just afraid that one day I'll accidentally hit and crack the bay res with my feet since I'll have my switch down on the floor

This has been a common problem as I know
the flow on how the hot air being distributed around the case can have a pretty big impact on the radiator thus the temp
Something like in my previous build; since I've 2x front intake fans sucking cold air, I also have my bottom 240 rad flowing hot air into the rig. Therefore the air which the top 360 received at the top (heat rises) is a bit warm, and you wont get optimal result from it
Thats why in my upcoming build I'll have a high performance 140 fans sucking cold air from the rear to feed the top rad
but cant say much for now, have to wait and see on the result

Well, I'd figure I'd share this with the rest of the Switch 810 owners. I got my USB LED controller in today, and fired it up (granted temporarily) just to see how it all would look in the case. devil.gif
