Prymus,
I am new to this, but why not put the vertical rad you have at the bottom? Just remove the bottom drive bay, that is what I did. Then you can get fresh air through the rad instead of warmer case air.

I believe you will not get anything better in that price range. It provides 8 case fans + 1 inside or 7 case fans + 2 inside. Depending on how many HDD bays you need/want. And It has dust filters on all intake fans.

. This is my new build. Hope you enjoy.thumb.gif

Good choice wink.gif
I would run the tube from your top rad to your res behind the mobo tray if its possible. Would look much cleaner thumb.gif

I just finished up the major part of my wife's new computer (Switched Switch) and when I fired it up to Fold on the water cooled 2700K, the tempers were awesome, but since her 2 GTX 560Ti video cards are still air cooled, the temps were HORRIBLE because I totally messed with the natural air flow of the Switch 810 with all my mods.

Until I get a pair of waterblocks for her rig, I might have to see about just popping off the front panel and/or just modding it to lower the temps.

6C would be wonderful.

Well my gpu has a water block on it and one of my radiators is in the front so I can't really comment on air cooled components. I'm sure it would help a lot though, that front panel is very restrictive.

From NZXT themselves? I doubt it. I think you'll have to do some custom work or find someone to do it.

I changed my rear and front stock case fans to some Noctua NF-A14s running at 800 RPM. My computer is totally silent now except for the hum of my water pump. The humming is probably due to the fact that the pump is attached to the case chassis. I'll have to find some way to suspend the pump.

It's nice. My temperatures are still the same despite the lower RPM. I think I know what I'll be doing this weekend with all this talk about modding the front panel and dropping the temperature. tongue.gif

if you are near a Bestbuy they sell "Dynamat" its a sound/ vibration adsorbing material that has adhesive on one side, put that between the pump and chassis and you should be good to go.
