Thanks for the reply! I know that NZXT customer service used to...have some issues... and read a lot of stories about people needing to post in forums to get their RMA's started

Too much tubing is not a bad thing, there is nothing worse than having too little when you make a mistake.

Just an fyi, you may have trouble using those fittings with that tubing. A few people here, including myself, tried to use the PrimoChill LRT tubing with the Swiftech Lok-Seal compression fittings without success.

We were using the 3/8-5/8 fittings and tubing, but what PrimoChill calls 5/8 is not what Swiftech calls 5/8 so it was near impossible to use them together. I ended up switching to Swiftech tubing and others switched to XSPC tubing. I don’t know if that will happen with the 3/8-1/2 you are getting but just wanted to give you a heads up.

Also if you have not used those Swiftech fittings before it is really easy to scratch them. You tighten the fitting by hand then just a very careful partial turn with a wrench because you can strip the fittings by tightening too much. Then when you tighten the collet down, just use your fingers as much as you can, then when you switch to a wrench to tighten them down more put some tape over the collet and you should be able to do it without scratching them.

Thanks for the info! I have tried the fitting already and they do fit with the 3/8 x 1/2 but you do have to make sure the compession fitting is screwed completly onto the tube. they were actually a pretty tight fit trying to get the tubing over the barb but I will do extensive leak testing to be sure. And yes, boy do they scratch easy. I already ruined one biggrin.gif (of course I wasnt using the right wrench at all..one of those lock whernches or whatever. but an adjustable works fine.) But for $3.99 a fitting at PPC I couldnt go wrong, plus I think they look really nice.

One question I have, I have a dcp 4.0 pump and that I might be using and have been looking everywhere for mounting hardware (somthing I might have to make myself) But I did come across xnines phantom 820 build and I believe he used the same pump and like the way he mounted his here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1321537/buildlog-project-12-phantom-820-finished/50#post_18632270 (third post down, 11th picture I believe) Anyone know if he made that custom or bought it? Maybe if Xnine is reading he can chime in? I did find a mounting kit on EK's website but its just a flat plate, not "L" shaped
