Can anyone list any radiators that will fit the top, bottom, and even front (any, not all) of the switch without needing to drill new holes? I'm guessing some of the rads have different spacing. See a lot of drilling going on, and I would like to get something that lines up. 120.x or 140.x, either is fine.
Thanks in advance!

If you dont want to run the risk of busting out a drill, stick with a 360 and a 240.

Hello everyone!

After lurking OCN for quite some time I am happy to be making my first post ever right here in the Official NZXT Switch 810 thread!

I have had a Switch in my Amazon cart just waiting for it to change from 1-2months shipping to in stock which it did yesterday. Luckily I did not have time to place my order and low and behold its $20.00 cheaper today, combined with some rewards points and!.........

Switch.jpg

My rig is primarily a HTPC / Music server so why a Switch? Because I like building and tweaking things and overkill is good!

Plans and why for the switch are:

Venture into watercooling with a custom loop (For quietness, overclock, and fun cool factor!)
(Been researching this on OCN for weeks now!)

Overclock my processor to hopefully 4.8+ for 24/7 (Will have the watercooling so why not!)

Start Folding (Computer is almost always on for HTPC duties so I like the idea that my power usage will contribute to something positive.)

Maybe try to get a little creative with a tiny bit of modding (Need to build/tweak!)

Try and theme the case a bit... going for Tron (Want it to look cool!)

Once I get my case I will start a build log as I am sure I will have lots of questions especially about the watercooling / Overclocking!

If you would literally take the time to read the thread for even only one min you would realize that the last FIVE TO EIGHT pages are about all of us getting rads...

I normally screw mine in anyway...takes about 2 minutes, and you know it's in there securely.

Hey guys,
While your systems are on, how hot is the outside of the case?
If I want to super glue velvet onto the outside, can I?
Only little accents, I don't wanna cover it.
No name yet. =(

i just need the following now:
  • RES: would like bayres, but from what i'm reading, I may find it easier with a tube or microres?
  • PUMP: either koolance RP-1005 or MCP 655.
  • Tubing: 1/2 ID 3/4 OD. Should I go with Primochill?
  • Compression Fittings: Monsoon or XSPC. they're a bit cheaper than Bitspower, but are they secure? I'm having doubts on going cheap on fittings.

Dual bay res/pump is nice. Howevere, I am thinking that since I installed a fill port a tube would be better for me. I would recommend the dual bay though. Makes everything easier.

Look at my build log in my sig. What type of rads are you wanting to go with? Looks like basically any 120 factor will fit up to 360 in the top. 240 will fit in the bottom. I think it even has support of 140mm factor rads. I am not sure if anyone got a 420 in the top with out a slight mod.

There are quite a few build logs and pics out there now on this bad boy. Just go through the pages of this awesome thread. thumb.gif
