Alright! About a week back, I ran across the 810 Switch in a review when I was upgrading a friend's PC using the Phantom 410. Every day since, I've been obsessed about this case more and more. After getting my hands on the Phantom 410, I know the Switch 810 is the best case. Hands down, when it comes to a clean and smart layout. I am a long time system builder and I don't think I could be more impressed with it.

What could you do to make the Switch 810 better than it is now?
I guess it could have a built in Radiator.
I guess it could glow in the dark.
I guess it could ask you how you are doing today.
I guess it could self clean your water cooling setup. AUTO WASH
I guess it could be made of titanium.
I guess it could self upgrade your components.
I guess it could have more front drive bays, but who really needs 9 drive bays.. yes my current case does and I use 3 of them.
I guess it could fit a two or three 520 RADs, but who really runs a 3000 watt PC.

For someone needing a serious file server, get a serious rack mount.

I really think the only criticism I have with the Switch 810, is it could be more friendly with 280 and 420mm RADs. I do not know how this would be possible really with making the case even bigger. I am looking forward to what NZXT has to offer in the coming years. It is going to be tough to out-do yourselves on this one though.

I guess it could have a SD card slot... oh yeah it does!

LOL. I would like to see them add a fill port. Was kind of a pain to put one in. Other than that, case is great!!!

There is a LOT of information in this thread. 130 pages of comments, questions, ideas, build logs, requests, reviews, shopping, air cooling, water cooling. It's not okay to dismiss someone's question. Regardless if it's been answered prior, there is way too much information to sift through for someone who's just coming in.

Next time, try to a little more helpful to someone seeking answers.

No worries. We all have to start somehwere, right? When I built my first PC I was so clueless and lost. It took me a full day to figure out how to put it all together. Now I'm a lean, mean, modding machine. biggrin.gif

However, to make it easier for you and others who do have questions about what size of what fits into the case, I've written a "Does it Fit?" section into the OP. thumb.gif

hey guys, get this idea and tell me what you think...it may be confusing but if you need clarifying just let me know. I'm going home for break in 2 weeks, when I finally can test fit all my equipment (everything but CPU/Mobo so far. I have 3 rads: and SR1 360 (top) a GTX 140mm and an unknown (seemingly Black Ice "pro" which was listted online as an SR1 but wasnt thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif) 120mm rad. So I've been looking at options for where to mount them all, as I dont think a double thick with a fan will fit in the back, while an SR1 in P/P is also in the top. I was thinking about both of them at the bottom, but didnt know where to mount the pump with that config. So here's my plan, if someone could tell me if they think it'll work:
Both the 120 and 140mm rads at the bottom, with the side with the threads facing toward the windowed panel (both in that orientation). I was thinking of putting THIS on the 120mm, and then mounting my pump to THIS, and attaching that to the item linked before. What I want to know is will this type setup fit under the top HDD cage? I have a Koolance PMP-450S D5 Strong pump. I also have the koolance aftermarket top, so I dont even know if the mounting system I chose accommodates a top.
If all this works, which color mount? Red or black? I have a white/black/red Asus ROG theme going.

Thanks guys! I'll put up pics of my build as I test fit. Is it alright if I make a build log even though I wont have the main components till Ivy Bridge/the newest Maximus Extreme board release? I need a place to put all this haha
