I started out with a cardboard pattern that I cut to fit the area. I used a straight ruler to measure lengths and heights. I then used a jigsaw to cut the pattern out of some sheet metal I had laying around. I connected the top part and the bottom part of the shelf with a piece of 90 degree corner angle metal that I picked up at Home Depot. Then I just screwed everything together. It took a long time but it was worth the work. Look at darlene's build log on her switch and see how she does it as hers makes more sense for refilling the loop after swapping water.

Ok before I drop a lot of money on a Caselabs SM8, can anyone tell me if it's possible to fit a UT60 240mm rad in the bottom (push/pull), and a Monsta 80mm 240 rad (push/pull) in the front simultaneously?

So that would be 110mm thickness in the bottom with 130mm thickness in the front.

Removing the ODD bays is fine as long as I would have one slot for a fan controller.

Looking at my build....I would say yes with some modding.

Hi. I'm trying to water cool in this case and I can't work out how people mount the tube res. I've tried the drive bays but because of the two fan holders it's not possible and I've tried the motherboard tray but the wires get in the way

Have a look at how I have mine mounted in the picture in my sig. You basically just need to stand it up on the floor of the case and use the included mounting ring. I have the ring mounted with just a piece of double sided velcro. I'm planning to add a mount for the bottom so that it's held in more securely later on.

Take a look at the build log in my sig as well. I had to drill holes above and below the cable routing grommets.
