Mine stays on all the time. A reboot every few days to freshen it up but it's always on. Only the monitors go into sleep mode.

Not enough intake fan power.

What are you using for intakes, and how obstructed is the air flow path?

Darlene

I forgot I asked this biggrin.gif

I turned the fan around and put a magnetic filter screen on it. Works well. To answer your question about intake fans: I have 2x140 on the front, and 4x120 on the bottom (push/pull through a 60mm rad) and now the single 140 on the rear as intake. When I am gaming I crank up the fans and the top ones move some serious air (5x140 - i left one off for my optical drive). Id love to see some thermal imaging. Im sure it would look like fire coming out of the top. thumb.gif

I'd like a front filter cover replacement, hex mesh or something that improves airflow (while keeping the filter).

With the front cover AND filter off there is not much improvement to airflow. NZXT really did their homework on this one

I do notice an increase when I remove the filter or the front cover. In the case of the bottom fans, I do not see an improvement with the filter off.
