Switch 810 Model: Black
Optical Drive MFG: Lite-On
Optical Drive Model#: iHAS124 DVD/CD Rewritable
Is your ODD and ODD Cover in the top-most 5.25 Bay?: Yes
Are you having an issue with your drive tray sliding back in while using the ODD cover?: Yes

450

I fixed my issue with the Stealth Bay door. I simply filed the hook that the spring attached to down a little bit, making it nice and smooth. Door closes as it's supposed to now. smile.gif

Love this thread guys keep up the great pics and info! I'm glad I found this site cause I put in my order for a white switch 810 couple days ago. I am in the process of building a brand new system and was just going to use an old reused case when I stumbled upon the switch in all it's epic glory. It blew me away and even made me go way over my budget but after seeing the possibilities with this case from various members on here I am so glad I made the choice to switch it up sum!

Some parts I've bought so far while waiting on my case.
Asus p8z68 V-pro gen3 mobo
I-5 2500K CPU
Raidmax 850W RX-850 AE
4x4 Gskill Ares 1600 ram
Seagate 1.5 TB HDD
Win 7
Cooler Master 212 evo (yeah yeah its air cooled ahh well)

yeah yeah i know I skimped and went cheap on some stuff. Was somewhat hesitant on that PSU but I have a buddy who uses that model and has no complaints so hopefully it works out for me as I'm not yet watercooling or doing any crazy sli configs or anything. Kinda kicking myself on not getting a better model higher watts etc... specially after seeing everyone and there 1000+w psu's in there switches!

Anyways Glad to be a switch owner and can't wait to get my case, and after looking through these threads for a couple days now I'm already thinking how I will improve on my machine once I get some more cash flow.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the club. Are we a club? Your hardware looks good. Just remember, the beauty of custom builds is that you can upgrade and replace items one at a time. That PSU should handle SLI no problem. I think if you are over 600watts you usually are good to go. As far as water cooling, that should be your next project. Got to start somewhere.

Off topic. I am curious as to what your graphics card will be....

I love the switch. I think I will be using it for quite some time.....

As far as OCN is concerned, this is hands down, the best forum and group of people I have ever had the pleasure of learning from.

Listen, not everyone can afford or even wants to watercool. So, don't worry about it! thumb.gif In time you may decide you want to go that route, and if that's the case, there's no better place to be to learn about WC than OCN. smile.gif

I was the same way for a couple of years, I bought cheaper components and aircooled, then moved on to an all-in-one liquid cooler, than went full-blown watercooling. It takes time, and I don't recommend people to just jump into it without doing a bunch of research.

If you have questions or concerns regarding the Switch 810 or any NZXT product, please let me know. I'll do my best to help you out. thumb.gif
