The original screws that were originally installed on the card would not fit with the backplate either.. the screw head was too big, but a fraction of a mm. One way or the other, I will get it to work.. Drill/or dremel the hole slightly bigger. Won't know until I get the waterblocks in my hand and see the screws firsthand to check it out.

Wanted to bring this back and give some input. I've got an EK block for an EVGA 580 and an EVGA backplate. If you want to make it fit you will need to cut off the curled lip around the edge with a jigsaw or dremel, and drill the holes out only about another mm. The longer set of hex screws that come with the water block will be long enough to reach through the backplate, pcb and into the block. Took about 15 min to do including taping the backplate so it would'nt scratch. thumb.gif

The EVGA Backplate I am referring to is on a GTX 560 Ti. It does not have the 'curled lip' like the GTX 580 EVGA backplate does. It's flat all the way across. I've done a little research already on this and I will be able to mount it with the supplied hardward the WK blocks come with. Don't want my Ti's being all naked n' whatnot. wink.gif

got myself a new toy to play with!!!
A cyborg R.A.T. 7 I REALLY wanted the albino white edition, but couldnt justify another $25 just for a color. although it would have looked sick and matched my whole build. but whatever, this thing is so cool!

That is the same mouse I just got. It is crazy bad a$$! I cannot believe the accuracy.

I know that it is hard to believe. On my asrock board I could not boot over 4.4 GHZ no matter what I tried. All I did to fix it was move each stick of RAM to the left. After that, no issues. RAM can be very finicky. It was just a last ditch effort thing to try before RMA'ing your mobo.

I'm having trouble getting my precision aim button to work. I set it to 50% in te software. But it's acting like the scroll wheel click.

I've been meaning to post pics of my rig and figured I'd do it now that I'm at a stopping point with it.

450
- Just after installing the RX240 in the bottom. I know it's overkill, but I plan on adding GPU's to the loop eventually... -

700
- The UV LED's I put in the roof of the case. -

450
- Case with the LED's in the holders, next to connect them all together. -

450
- LED's installed and working! -

450
- Case reassembled -

700
- Switch for the UV LED's on the front panel -

450
- Replaced the stock white LED's with green to match the rest of the mods. -

450
- All in all, turned out ok. biggrin.gif -

700
- Replaced the blue LED that came with the Rasa kit and the UV light switch in the on position. -

I should get my second 5770 back from warranty repair soon and hopefully water cool them in the coming months once I get some money saved up. Along with that I'm pretty sure I'll need to upgrade my pump and res. Don't think the XSPC 750 will do well with the additional restriction of adding two GPU blocks.
