Hrm.. I'm debating whether I'm getting a 280 or a 240 for my future upgrade.

for the 280, I'm planning on Coolgate 280 or Black Ice SR-1 280

for 240, I'd get the Alphacool NeXXXos ideally.

I have 5 AP-15s lying around doing nothing. I can get an adaptors for the 280 no problem, and have a shroud like effect

Thing I'm concerned with is the length of the 280. I've seen an 810 build with problems on the G-changer 280. I'm not too comfortable with my modding skills so I'd like not to have to.

ok it seems like the SR-1 is about 22mm shorter than the G-changer and the Coolgate is 6mm shorter.

So it is between the nexXxos vs SR-1 280 hrm.. thinking.gif

IIRC AHCI is required for any hot swappable features of SATA to be enabled. So yes, if you want to be able to remove a SATA drive without shutting down first, AHCI is required.

Okay, this is off topic. Want your opinions. Here is my issue.

Ordered a card from someone on the OCN about 3 weeks ago. I still have not got the card. He keeps telling me it is on the way and then I get nothing and here nothing from him. He keeps telling me how busy he is.

The issue is, he has good rep and seller rating. Have I been patient enough, or should I wait a little more? 3 weeks is out of hand.

Another issue. I gifted him the money through paypal. Am I screwed? I did this because he is known around the forums and has been around here for some time. Plus, he had good rep and seller rating. Can I request money back on something that was gifted through paypal?

Contact one of the admins. I suggest Chipp as he's the General Manager.

I agree. Contact an Admin. That's absolutely ridiculous. I've never not had something out to someone when dealing on a personal level that didn't arrive within 5 business days.
