These were $9.00 USD shipped. Depending on the detail, your price may differ from what I paid.

if only it would fit my color scheme lol.
Also, I think I trust EVGA a little more with their customer service

Hey guys.
Not sure if this is cool but...

I made a thread in the WC section.
Could use some help on my WC parts.

The stuff is gonna go in a Switch so I guess I can post this here?

Here's the link to the thread.

If I can't, can someone let me know?

Hey all, I'm looking to get a mod done on my case, but I was wondering if someone could measure something out for me? I'm not home, so I dont have the case on hand, but what I need measured is:

The thickness of the front lower plastic pice (the one that clicks on and off)
And the thickness of the top part with the slats (I need the thickness of the "cross section" so if you open the slats and measure that way, it would be the most accurate for what I need)

Thanks

The front piece is 23MM or 7/8" thick including the filter and what not (the whole thing that pops off. I didn't include the parts that hold it in)

Top with slats open is 14MM or 9/16" not including other stuff that holds it in place/the part that the slats rest on.

On a different note, updates!

Well, I not the best at measuring and I am using a fabric measuring tape that my wife had sitting out. Not sure why, but it was handy.

The plastic part that covers the front fans is 3/4in.

Looks like the top piece is 2/3 inch.

Well, looks like thejesus got to it before I could. Mine were way off. I will never use a fabric measuring tape again.

One last consensus so everyone can know;
This ccan even be added to the front page of the thread.

If your doing water cooling, what size rads are you using and why?
360 for the space? 240 in the bottom for the extra cooling? 420 in the top, is it too cramped?

I think now that a lot more ppl are starting their water cooling and it would be very helpful to have all of this info in one place, so what say you we make the next 20 or so comments strictly to this thought? No quotes, no responses, just answers and your thoughts personally, if ya got something else ya wanna talk about how about you save it for tonight cause we all know since it's Friday everyone will be on! Okay guys!? I would apprichate it on behalf of any one who is thinking about etting the switch and the ones of us who already have it, So only nice clean info comin in today guys, I think we can survive! smile.gif

Thanks!!

Ok, so I came up with the mod that I want for my case.
With the help of letterkilled, who modded his case, I'm going to try for something like this.

I am sending my top and front panel out to him to cut in similar fashion to him.
This is what he cut:
700

I'm not much of an artist, but I'm trying to get something like this instead of the mesh he used:

640

(sorry im not an artist lol)
The letters and "E" would all be cut out, and the rest would be solid black acrylic.
I'm still thinking of how to do it, but I want the acrylic mounted flush with the case, so I was thinking some small tabs coming from the case that the acrylic is glued/taped to in the back, which stick out a bit from the piece of the case that is being cut. If you know what I mean?
