I view QDCs as a way to remove your hardware in isolated chunks, then you can drain outside the case by cutting the tubing or removing the QDC from one end.

Agreed.

Protz, you would need to get another female and/or male connector and just have a piece of tub connected to them outside of your case. Then you could connect whichever end and allow the water to flow out of the loop.

You would actually need 2 QDC to make it work with out having to cut tubing.

yeah that's kinda what i was getting at. so like in that vid the guy has like 4 for them 2 below the gpu's and 2 above the cpu,
he undoes them then takes out his mobo. so if he did that, there would still be water in the tubes, he would just be able to take it out and drain it say over the sink or something?

i mean i know i was just asking if what was in my cart was technically one QDC

Yeah. That was only 1. The male and female. Now you would need another one, If you plan to use it as a drain system.

I have not seen alot of folks using or talking about the NZXT Power Supplies. I love mine. I think they have a rebate going on right now too. I also believe there made by Seasonic like most other good ones. I got a 750W but they also have a 650. Bronze's are black, golds are white in color.

Sorry for the crappy, through the glass, phonecam pic but i never liked reading.....just looking at pictures.

I have exactly what you're looking for. My setup is the same way. I have a QDC between my pump and res, with some tubing between both. The female QDC is attached to a 90 degree rotary fitting on my res. When I want to drain it, I disconnect from the pump, swing the female QDC out of the case, and I use a second MALE (I bought 2 male, 1 female) QDC with some left over tube which I then put into the female QDC, and the water begins to drain from the res.
