Hey guys, are all motherboards really sharp or is it just the Rampage IV Extreme?

And build log hopefully tomorrow. =(

After I put everything together I can't believe how awesome the coolant looks.. pictures do not do this justice!!

Guys - dumb question, I just picked up the case along with everything else from newegg - however for the life of me I can't find the motherboard standoffs..... This is my first build - should they have been in the box with the case or the mobo (assuming case) - and where would they have been????

*end panic* they were hiding in a box within one of the hard drive bays lol

It wasn't anything too horrendous, chipped paint here and there and some black mark on the top grille which took ages scrubbing with warm water and a cloth to get off. It's not like the case is ruined, but it's clear that (at least mine) was thrown together on the assembly line without much care at all. Just puts a bit of a downer on the whole "yeah, something new!" feeling.


I managed to clean the top panel eventually so that's not a problem, and the rest I suppose you could say I was being picky. There are chips in the paint on the rear by the I/O panel, some deep scratches through to the metal by one of the rivets on the bottom left of the rear panel, a large chip in the paint in the windowed panel and some more chips on the interior side underneath the windowed panel. I would post pictures now but I'm on my phone on the way to work so couldn't until this evening.

You'll probably all call me picky when you see the pics, but I'm just surprised to see damage on anything new, doesn't seem right and I know it's there. You know how like you imagine your rig turning out when you're done, and in your mind it's perfection? Now I've seen these marks dotted about it kinda feels like I won't get it how I imagined. I could totally live with it, it's just a bit of a shame.

Ignoring that, wow - what a case! It's so roomy and there's nothing they haven't thought of. I wish I didn't have to wait to start modding but I have to save up for my water cooling bits again as my bike needs a new chain, front sprocket and suspension bushes so there goes my cash, lol. The Switch is so easy to build in its almost a crime.

Well this is the signature rig I have been playing with for a little bit, its a work in progress so be nice lol. Just figured I ought to post it in respect to NZXT and as a hello to the thread. Sorry for the bad pic quality.

Hahaha I did the same thing. I was so bummed out when I couldn't find the 8 pin extension cable anywhere.

My components look lost in it!
